Asteroids2029 will encourage, connect, and support networks of professional and amateur scientists, educators, and communicators from all over the world to share valuable resources, events, and news. The networks of hundreds, if not thousands of organisations, nationally and internationally, will be one of the lasting legacies of Asteroids2029.
To make this possible, National Nodes can be submitted for every participating nation, designed to represent the primary coordination bodies for Asteroids2029 activities within individual nations. National Nodes adapt the global goals of Asteroids2029 to national, regional and local contexts, cultures, and audiences while coordinating national participation in international initiatives. There is one National Node per nation that is typically composed of several organisations and groups working together depending on the national setup.
